The package shows the major tourist attractions in Thekkady. We visit Periyar tiger Resrve, Ramakalmedu, Aamappara, Parunthum para and Panjalimedu on this package. Customer have the option to combine the package with any other package. The trip starts and ends at Thekkady/Kumily, but if you are arriving at a different place we can make changes to the itinerary.

Package Itinerary
Arrive at Kumily bus terminal in the morning. Our representative takes you to the hotel. Get refreshed and have your breakfast. Later proceed for boating in the Periyar lake, we need to reach the parking ground in Kumily at least by 10 am and catch the bus towards boat landing in the Periyar lake( Only buses run by the forest department are allowed inside the Periyar Tiger Reserve). Board the boat at 11.15 and enjoy the wild life sanctuary. The boating ends at 12.45 and again catch the bus towards Kumily. Have your lunch and later proceed to Idukki.Visit Idukki dam (opened only on weekends and public holidays), one of the largest arch dam in Asia. Later head back to Thekkady. On the way visit Kalyanathandu or Kalvarimount. The partially sink mounts between the mountains which you can see from Kalvarimount is a feast to the eyes. Later proceed to Thekkady for overnight stay.
Early morning head towards Ramakalmedu and do the trekking before 9 am. ( It will be hard to climb the hills on day time due to heavy sunbeam. Visit the Kuravan Kurathi statue. Have your breakfast and later visit Aamappara. Aamappara can reach only with the help of a 4*4 Jeep. The jeep and entry tickets which you will get from the DTPC counter in Ramakalmedu. Aamappara is a scenic place located between Kerala and Tamilnadu. The view from the top of the mountains to nearby places are mind blowing. Later get back to Thekkady for overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and head towards Eagle rock or Parunthumpara. Later proceed to Paanjalimedu hills, which is a beautiful spot for trekking and the view from the hills are amazing.Later get back to Thekkady for onward journey in the evening.
